Cinematic drone videography capturing the grandeur and symmetry of a historic estate from above.
We were commissioned by English Heritage to deliver a high-impact drone film production of Wrest Park — one of the most majestic and architecturally significant country estates in England.
Elevating heritage storytelling through drone videography
The brief was to create a visual asset that not only highlighted the scale, symmetry, and beauty of the site but also allowed audiences to experience Wrest Park in a completely new way. Through state-of-the-art aerial videography, we produced sweeping flyovers of the baroque mansion, formal gardens, long avenues, and intricate parterre designs. Filmed at golden hour for optimum natural light and atmosphere, the footage reveals both the dramatic geometry of the landscape and the refined architectural detail of the estate from striking perspectives.
The edit combined slow, cinematic glides with bold aerial reveals — balancing grandeur with serenity. The final cut was delivered as a versatile promotional video, suitable for web, social media, exhibitions, and wider campaigns.
A powerful example of how drone videography can elevate heritage storytelling, this project reinforced English Heritage’s mission to inspire, educate, and preserve. Timing was everything — from golden-hour shooting to precise air traffic clearance — but the result was worth it: an unforgettable view from above.
