A Promotional Display Stand That Brought Community Spirit to Life
Helly Hansen asked us to create a compact promotional display stand for a heartfelt, public-facing campaign at Glenshee Ski Centre. The goal was simple but meaningful: encourage skiers and visitors to leave thank-you messages for the ski patrollers who keep the mountain safe all season.
Our solution was a purpose-led marketing display design — a freestanding display table with bold branded visuals, integrated messaging, and space for passers-by to stop and write their notes of thanks. The design was lightweight for transport and quick to set up, while still strong enough to stand out in a busy ski resort. Most importantly, it was created with real user interaction in mind.
This wasn’t about being the loudest on the mountain. It was about thoughtful placement, clear communication, and ensuring the Helly Hansen brand was seen supporting the professionals on the front line. The trade show display style structure proved how powerful well-considered design can be, even in its simplest form. The campaign not only engaged visitors but also gave ski patrollers something meaningful to take away.
The centrepiece, a durable cross, was built to hold the public’s messages of thanks and support for years to come. All other materials were sourced sustainably and designed for easy recycling once the campaign had finished.
